Learn to make an A6 book from scratch. During this workshop you will learn how to create the book covers by using decorative papers, construct the signatures/sections of the book and finally learn how to sew it all together using the traditional coptic stitch creating a beautiful exposed stitched spine. There will be plenty of cutting, gluing and sewing and will enable you to carry on creating more books at home.

All materials and equipment are provided and we will be using really top quality paper meaning you will have a really lovely book at the end of the workshop.

Tea/coffee and of course something delicious will also be included. Please specify at the checkout stage or at time of booking if you have any special dietary needs. However, we do start at 12.30 pm so you should bring along a snack or light lunch to keep you going.

Workshop will take place in the shop, which will be closed at the time the workshop is running so no interruptions.

Workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 people due to space but this also allows for a more intimate teaching experience.
